William Cox, Devizes

This clock dates to the early 1790's  and is of characteristic style and proportions. 

The case is of a light coloured solid mahogany with canted and reed columns to the trunk. The integrated hood columns have gilt caps and the hood has side windows. The 12" dial is by Wilson and has a moon phase  and calendar feature and has typical corners with painted flowers.

The overall height to central finial top is 94".
