Joel Ettry, Horton

An oak longcase clock by Joel Ettry, Horton, near Devizes.

This clock is quite unusual in that there don't seem to be many eight day clocks made by Joel, this being only the second that I've come across in over thirty years!

In an oak  case stylistically appropriate for the period and the local area this clock has an  11.75" square brass with a subsidiary seconds dial and a square calendar feature. The chapter ring has both Roman and Arabic numerals engraved on it.

Overall height is only 80" tall
