John Mannings, Urchfont

John Mannings, Urchfont

John Mannings was christened in Enford parish church on the 7th December 1707. He died in 1782.

This is an extremely rare clock, being signed Mannings, Urchfont. It is a hooded wall clock (doing everything a longcase clock does, but using less floor space!), the case being pine and fitting a 10″ brass dial single handed thirty  hour clock which strikes the hours every hour. The dial is nicely engraved with rustic birds and insects. It is fitted with a sold iron hand.

Price £3950
