grandfather clock dial, John Spiller, Wellington, Somerset

John Spiller, Wellington:  John Spiller is listed as working in Wellington in 1794. The antique oak case of this clock is embellished with mahogany on the hood and has a swan neck pediment with a single brass finial. The 12" painted dial has floral corners and has both seconds dial and calendar feature. The eight day movement strikes the hour on a bell.
The height is 7' tall (8").
