Preddy, Langport, Somerset. A
really pretty and small mahogany antique longcase clock, signed by William Preddy,
who worked between 1822 and 1839. A typical West Country case with a hood surmounted
by a swan neck pediment with brass patera and central finial. The 12" square
painted dial is decorated with flowers and birds and has seconds and clanedar
features. The case has a beautiful colour and has ebony stringing. The height
