John Pope, Canterbury.  John Pope is listed as working from 1766. this magnificent antique mahogany clock features a brass arch dial with a Father Time automaton in the arch and finely engraved dial centre. The hood is surmounted with three brass finials and has fluted columns with Corinthians capitals. The five-pillar eight-day movement strikes the hours on a bell.
The height is 7'8" tall (92").
