H G Hanks: Henry Garlick Hanks is listed as working in the High Street, Malmesbury between 1830 and 1851. This is an antique wall clock in the uncommon "Norlfolk" style. the wall mounted version of a grandfather clock, it has a weight driven eight day movement and strikes the hours on a bell. It has a rich mahogany case and a white painted dial. It is 4' high (48").
